Welcome to the Orthodox Cathedral of the Transfiguration of Our Lord!
Our Cathedral, a New York City Landmark, has graced the Greenpoint-Williamsburg, Brooklyn skyline since 1922. It is the only example of its kind of Byzantine Revival architecture in New York and perhaps the United States. It is also listed in the National Register of Historic Places
Departments Release “Essential Orthodox Christian Beliefs”
A cooperative effort of the Departments of the Orthodox Church in America, the groundbreaking work is an offering to the Church to assist clergy and parishes in their work of instructing inquirers and the faithful in the truths of the Orthodox Christian Faith. This work is not meant to replace time-trusted books and publications which have taught generations but to work in concert with them.

Remember! Sunday Liturgy symbolizes Easter. Your attendance at every Sunday service is very important. God is waiting for you!
⚠️ To stay connected throughout the day and the whole week to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, all Orthodox Christians are encouraged to start/finish their day with Morning and Evening prayers. You can download a prayer book in PDF or from app stores.
